My Experience with The Body Care Almond Facial Scrub:

I have dry, sensitive skin which makes everything from skincare to makeup application challenging. This cream-based scrub uses superfine granules which are tough enough to remove dead skin, but don't "tear up your face" like other harsher facial scrubs. There are basically two reasons why I love this product, It's not too harsh on my dry skin, hence doesn't cause any irritation and it contains sweet almond oil which helps nourish my skin at the same time. I usually follow it up with the Aroma Magic Vitamin C Day Cream, I've been religiously following this routine for 2-3 months now and it has definitely changed the texture of my skin.

How to use it:

  • Once you're done cleansing your face, take a small amount of the product and scrub gently using circular motions, avoiding any area that has pimples/acne and don't forget to apply a good moisturizer after that.
  • For best results, use 3-4 times a week if you have oily skin, and twice a week if you have dry skin. Avoid exfoliating your facial skin daily. This rule applies to almost every scrub available in the market - exfoliating your skin on a daily basis does more harm than good and might cause dryness and redness.

There are only a few facial scrubs that are gentle enough to use daily. In addition, our skin is one smart organ and sheds dead skin cells on its own; if we scrub too often, it can slow down cellular turnover - Skin's natural exfoliating process.

  • Your skin renews itself overnight, so try and exfoliate in the morning to buff away any dead skin.
  • Make sure you remove your makeup if you're wearing any. If you don't, you will not be able to give your skin the deep clean you are looking for.
